About us

Rimutaka Gymnastics is a well-established community based, not-for-profit sports club in Upper Hutt.

We have been part of the Upper Hutt community for over 35 years, and are not only one of the largest community organisations in Upper Hutt, we also have one of the largest year-round sports-based memberships.  We offer a wide range of gymnastic sports, from preschool movement to recreational gymnastics to our competitive programmes.

We operate out of two buildings in central Upper Hutt, using our main gym and smaller gym to cater for all the classes we offer.

We have competitive teams who compete throughout the lower North Island, with some of our gymnasts also competing at Nationals in July each year.

We provide an Excel programme, along with many more classes.  As a club we provide a safe environment where people from our community can participate in movement through gymsports, by giving them a foundation of skills for active lives.
